With a full pipeline of potential customers and the launch of our first demo site in sight, we are looking for a groundbreaking Moodle Engineer to architect our infrastructure and take us to the next level.

Your mission

As our Infrastructure Pioneer, you will lay the foundation for our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). You will be responsible for setting up scalable, multi-tenant Moodle environments within a LAMP/PHP stack.

In this role, you will work directly with the CTO in a close-knit developer team. You will be the expert shaping our technical backbone as we scale at lightning speed.

What will you do?

Pioneering: You will build a robust SRE foundation and manage scalable Moodle instances.
DevOps Excellence: You will optimize our AWS environment, implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless integrations of AI-driven content via custom plugins.
Architecture & Security: You will advise on client configurations, compliance and security so that our developers can innovate on a rock-solid platform.

Who are we looking for?

You are an experienced engineer (5+ years in DevOps) who thrives in a startup environment. You have a passion for open source and are not afraid to build something from scratch.

Your technical baggage (Must-haves):

Cloud: Extensive experience with AWS.
Database: In-depth knowledge of MariaDB.
Modern Engineering: Expertise in CI/CD, Containerization and Orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker).
Architecture: Experience designing SaaS infrastructures.

Bonus points if you have experience with:

Scripting and automation (Python, Bash, etc.).
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) .
Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Unix systems.
PHP (LAMP stack), MySQL and HTTP protocols.
Affinity with AI implementations
