What is Collow?
Collow is a modern and flexible e-learning platform that makes learning scalable, fun and challenging. Collow is available with a standard set of IT courses, so you can get started right away with your own Academy.
Who developed Collow?
Collow was invented and developed by Young_Coders during Corona. Then the need arose to also support candidates for the Young_Coders IT traineeship with online training. That was so successful that it was decided to set up a new company for it
Is Collow also available as a white label solution?
Yes, you can brand Collow entirely in your own corporate identity with logo. The standard IT courses that we offer are also offered in your own corporate identity.
Is Collow a learning management system (LMS)?
Yes, Collow is a SaaS LMS, with standard courses, an editor tool to develop your own courses and with monitoring of learning progress.
How does Collow differ from other e-learning tools?
Collow has been developed lean and offers smart AI solutions to quickly develop great IT courses. In addition, Collow offers a set of standard IT courses, making it more than just a platform.
Which browsers does Collow support?
All browsers are supported, but we recommend using Google Chrome.
Where is Collow hosted?
The platform is delivered as a SaaS solution hosted in the Amazon Web Services cloud, providing the highest standards of security, scalability and continuity. If desired or required, Collow can also be hosted in a private on-premise cloud environment.
Which languages does Collow support?
We support two languages for our website and content: Dutch and English. We support our training courses, instructional videos and training courses from organizations in 65 languages.
Who creates the Collow content?
You decide: you do it yourself or outsource it to us. consultants en/of team van docenten.
How is the learning process structured?
The learning path is made up of a number of courses that are tailored to a person's previous education and that belong to a specific IT role. Suppose someone wants to become a web developer, then the following IT courses are included in the learning path: HTML, CSS, Javascript. During the training, code challenges must be performed regularly to determine whether the lesson material has been understood. Various quizzes are also part of the learning paths.
As a company or trainer, can I design my own learning paths based on my own material, so that they best meet the needs of my students?
Yes, through the editor tool you have complete control over all your content en you can edit it anytime you like.
In addition to your own courses, you can also use standard courses from Collow.
As a trainer, can I determine the pace of the e-learning activities?
Yes, you have full control and you can also edit everything at any time.
You can also use Collow's standard IT courses for your own e-learning activities.
Can participants learn from each other?
Yes, we are working on a real Metaverse environment, the beta version of which can be seen here: https://Collowland.nl. This will be the community where students on the Collow platform can meet each other, learn from each other, listen to webinars together and then earn points and badges.
How many users is Collow suitable for?
There are no technical limitations.
How exactly does the pricing model work?
The Collow prices are based on a licensing model where a distinction is made between a Starter, Professional or Enterprise model. A choice can be made depending on the number of users and the features. The first month is free, after that the license starts. I have completed a training course, but I cannot find my certificate. How can I download it?
If your certificate is not immediately visible on your profile after completing a training course, you can try to log in again. If you still don't see your certificate, try clearing your browser's cache. Another option is to use an incognito window. Is your certificate still not visible after this? Please contact Collow at support@collow.nl.
I have completed a course, but I do not see this reflected in my profile
It may happen that you do not see your completed course on your profile, or that a completed training is not registered as “completed”. In that case, you can try logging in again, clearing your browser's cache, or using an incognito window. Does the problem still occur? Please contact Collow at support@collow.nl
The button in my activation email doesn't work
Your email client or work may block the use of buttons in emails. That's why there's always a link below the button that you can click on. Does this not work either? Then copy the link from the email and paste it directly into your browser.
The link in my activation email redirects me to the login screen.
This means that your account has already been activated. Have you forgotten your password? Then click on “Forgot password?"
When should I contact my contact person at the organisation and when should I contact Collow support?
For questions regarding a course or your account, please contact your contact person at the organisation. If they cannot help you further, you can contact Collow at support@collow.nl.
For questions regarding the platform, such as bugs, please contact Collow.
I found a bug, where can I report it?
If you have found a bug in Collow you can let us know via support@collow.nl. Provide as much detail about the bug as possible. Think of images and when and where you encountered the bug. This way we can solve the bug as efficiently as possible.
We will determine the severity of the bug and place it in our backlog. We then hope to resolve it as soon as possible.
